Thanks so much and enjoy the show. When was the last time you walked out of a movie? Have you ever done it? I'm not talking

about abandoning something mediocre on whatever streamer you're using these days.

That's easy.

Everybody does that.

No, I'm talking about making a plan. choosing something you think should be good,

getting yourself to a cinema, paying the ticket price, sitting through like a half hour of ads and coming attractions,

and then still somewhere in the middle deciding that you

are not going to subject yourself to whatever is on the screen for one more second.

Walking out of a film is a real statement.

It's always been a real statement.

But these days, with ticket prices being what they are,

walking out is a downright political act.

It takes some courage.

Or at least a real certainty that this experience is only going to get worse.

I can't help but be fascinated by the movies that have prompted a walkout.

I think you can learn a lot about a person by hearing the story of a movie that they abandoned.

Because there had to be some reason that they were at that movie in the first place.
