0:20.8

impressive professor of pediatrics from Johns Hopkins, who is an infectious disease specialist.

0:27.3

And I've been wanting to do this episode for a long time on COVID in kids,

0:32.2

but have not managed to get around to it. And so today we are going to do it. And I have with

0:36.7

me, Dr. Anna Sixamuels. She's an assistant professor of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins

1:37.2

answer some of yours. I love it. And yes, we've you know, we've done episodes on adults and I love

1:43.5

that I actually this impetus came from some of my residents who were saying what about the kids

1:48.1

and and so I think this is really long overdue. So I mentioned that your area of focus prior to COVID

1:55.8

was in the looking at and trying to prevent healthcare associated infections in kids. Was that a

2:02.4

natural kind of morph into COVID care? What kind of was it? Was it well, hey, everybody's obviously

2:09.9

needs to help out with COVID or did your research and interest kind of dovetail directly into
