discussing some heavy topics. I'm going to be telling you a story that is deeply, deeply personal

to me. I hope you'll allow me the space to be vulnerable in your ears. We've talked about many

things on this podcast, covered the gamut of a wide variety of

topics. Today, I want to tell you about the story of my abortion. Now, that's a strong word.

The abortion debate has become so fraught, so loaded with extremism and propaganda, and I feel

despair about it. And one of the critiques I get

and it's usually from men in my community is Lindsay, stop talking about politics. And when it comes

to issues like this, I don't know how to stop. The personal is political. This is something that

affects my life. The politics, the discourse in our country right now is so divided.

I don't care where you land on some of these topics. You've obviously landed in some camp.

We're so divided. We're so separated from each other. And it's not the first, nor will it probably

be the last time that America will be in such a space. But we are in it now And it's not the first, nor will it probably be the last time that America will be in such

a space. But we are in it now. And if you're like me and you're paying attention, it can't feel good.

I don't know anyone that's happy about it. If you are happy about it, God have mercy on us all.

But I wanted to talk about this issue and how it relates to the topics we discuss on the

podcast. I often struggle in my positions. And that's partially because I know and love and come

from an extremely conservative community. Even though I have liberal views, I understand the

concerns and fears of those who feel differently than me. I really, really do.
