If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be,

I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game, in my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals achievements.

I talked about faith, passion, obviously, the drive with the guys that I've been around

and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

And Sam, today we got a really interesting topic that really was kind of spurned from emails that we've received from a lot of different coaches over the time with all of our PGC glazier coaches clinics and just mentoring

and being around coaches at PGC and this is a pretty common email that we get so one of the

things that for those of you aren't familiar and you know you hear me and Adam talk about this all

the time on the show one of the things we teach at PG, but we talk a lot about being a transformational coach.

And so make sure everybody understands what we're talking about.

How would you define a transformational coach?

Transformational coach would be defined as somebody who is transforming lives, who's making an impact in a young person's life that goes well beyond teaching

them a better jump shot or how to win a game or a defensive strategy but it's going to transform

their lives off the court it's going to make an impact for years to come that have nothing to do with

the game yeah so we talk a lot about that, about creating transformational coaches.

And, you know, the opposite of that, the other end of that is a transactional coach.
