Reading this morning about Peter having a vision from God, he goes into a trance, and in the trance,

he gets this curtain that comes down with all the unclean animals. And the voice says,

eat. And Peter, of course, replies, I can't eat because this is unclean. And this vision repeated

few times when he came down from that vision. The Bible says that the Spirit told him that the man that are waiting

for him at the front door that he should go with them. And I want to highlight something about

visions, dreams, purpose of God, the will of God for our life, and the role of the Holy Spirit.

Peter spent time in prayer, and in prayer he fell into a trance.

He got the vision.

But what to do with that vision, he didn't know.

It was the Holy Spirit that connected the dots between the vision and the people

that were standing right in front of him. I'm reminded of story of Joseph when Pharaoh got the vision,

but he did not know what to do with it. He did not know what its interpretation was until it was Joseph who connected the vision,

the dream, with practical next steps. And then Pharaoh, of course, was a wise man in the sense that

he hired Joseph. He gave him closeness. He gave him a throne. He gave him all the things so that Joseph can function

without restriction and limits. The Holy Spirit should not be limited. And I've said this previously
