June 17th, 20. Do I even, do I dare mention the weather? It chucked it down here in Salford overnight. This horrendous summer shows no sign of relenting or this horrendous weather shows no sign of

relenting. It's grim out there in Solford. But anyway, we have each other, you and me, together,

forever. Anyway, yes, the beginning of a new week, the Papers Podcast, where I look at the front pages and then

we have a look inside and see if there's anything interesting, interesting even. There

is. There are a number of interesting stories inside the papers today. We'll go to the front

pages now and you will not be surprised to learn, you will not be surprised at all.

England got off to a great start, winning the first group game 1-0 against Serbia.

Jude Bellingham with the goal in the first half. England did hang on. Late on, there were a few

scares, a couple of go-line clearances, and a decent save from Jordan Pickford. Although Harry Kane even did go close himself with a header

towards the end. Anyway, just the job is the headline on the front page of the mirror.
