It's Friday, the 14th of June,

2024.

And I have no new news on the weather.

No new news. It's cold and it's wet and it's wintry out there.

I could go into a long ramble about how June's weather completely blows out of the water.

The whole man-made climate change theory. I could do, but I won't because it must be or should

be self-evident now to anybody who's remotely capable of thinking for themselves that

man-made climate change theory is a nonsense. But I won't get into that. Are you all right this

morning? I hope you are. Looking forward to the footy, are you? You're not? I'm kind of not really.

I love football. It's a great escape. I know it's bread and circuses. I know this. I'm well aware

of it. But I like it. It's a bit of escapism. But I've never been a big

fan of international football. When I was younger, when I was in my mid-teens and Jack Charlton, God rest them,

was in charge of the Irish football team, the Irish international football team, the Republic of Ireland.

It was great gas to see Ireland compete with the biggest

teams in the world, in Germany and then in Italy and later on in America. But not long after

it, I kind of lost a bit of interest in international footy. But I'd probably keep an eye on it.

The Home Nation, Scotland played Germany in the opening game following the opening

ceremony tonight, as that is in Munich, and then England open their campaign. They begin on
