And joining us today as a hugely respected English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer,

who's perhaps best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of beloved UK prog rock band, Porky Pine Tree.

Although that's actually just one of the

innumerable projects he's been involved with over the years.

In the career spanning well over three decades he's worked with artists such as King

Crimson, Andy Partridge, Yoko Ono, Jethro Tull, Tears for Fears, Yes, and Morillion.

In late January 2021 he released his excellent sixth solo album entitled The Future Bites, and

he joined us a couple of weeks prior to

which released to chat about it. We're delighted to welcome the brilliant Stephen Wilson

Our guest was born in 1967 in Kingston up on Thames London

and raised in Hemmelhamstead, Hertfordshire.

He became interested in music around the age of eight and was particularly enthused by his parents'

Dark Side of the Moon and Love to Love Your Baby LPs, by Pink Floyd and Donna Summer respectively and credits those two records with helping shape his musical and songwriting sensibilities.

He later got into the likes of David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Tears for Fears and the Pesh Mode.
