people from my grandfather's generation about developing the skill of saving seeds and starting

plants, they would have laughed at you because they would have been like, oh who,

you realize how simple this is. You leave some of the beans on the plant and you wait until they

go to a dry bean status and then you pull the bean pods off and you throw them in a paper bag

and you take about twice what you think you're going to need in case anything goes wrong.

And you put them somewhere where the rats can't get them and then you plant them next year.

You don't even take them out of the husk. You just when you're planting them, you pop them out
