another great regional episode this time on Trunkle Blocks. So I am thrilled to say

welcome back to the show Hassan and Kara. Thank you for having this back

My pleasure. Today we are going to discuss Truckle blocks and that's going to include the rectus sheath block, transverseus

of dominoous plane block, quadratus lumborum, and a rectus spiny block. And for anybody listening that's interested we have attached

images of all four of these blocks for your reference on the website.

Now in regards to the ITE and board exam, which we really, really love to touch on for our

podcast, the rectus sheath and the tap or transverse

abdominous plane, I'm going to call it tap from now on,

are most likely to be covered of these four blocks.

The quadratus lumborum and the erector spiny

are pretty new, they they still need research and outcomes before they

will make it onto any testing modality.

Great. Well I like it so we're going to cover some that are more established and definitely will come up on tests and then kind of newer, you know, kind of more trendy blocks that if they catch on, we'll come up on tests in a few years. So that's a great combination.
