I hope everybody's having a great week and I hope you guys have been watching some good things. I don't know.

At the time that you'll be seeing this, I will be in New Orleans at Overlook. So hopefully I see some really good things there that I can report back on.

Honestly, I'm just so excited to be in New Orleans. It's like my favorite place in the world. I can't wait to go back.

I will continue going to this film festival every year because it gives me an excuse to go to New Orleans every year. And I just love it so much. So just know that when you're listening to this, I will be very happy. I will be fully engrossed in the New Orleans culture, eating the best food of my whole life, and again, hopefully watching some good movies,

but honestly, that is like the least of my concerns. Like, I just want to be in New Orleans.

Today we're talking about a religious horror movie that I think is incredibly underrated.

I found out about this movie through Shutter, as I do with a lot of movies. Same thing with

Dark and the Wicked, which we talked about on Wednesday.

And I think this is such just like a cool, unique, and modern take on your classic possession story.

I think it is really creative in that way because I think it's the first movie to put this kind of spin on it.

And also it has our horror king,

Kyle Gowler in it. He is one of my favorite, he's like my favorite actor in horror, honestly.

He has been around. I first fell in love with this man in 2009 in the haunting of Connecticut.

And I have just followed his career ever since. I've seen everything that he's been in since.

Red State. Red Eye. Jennifer's Body, The Nightmare on Elm Street remake, Strange Darling,

which is a more recent one. He has been in so much. He's done so much over the years.

Scream 5. Like he just pops up everywhere. And I love that. I love seeing him him in movies I love when he pops up I love

him so he is going to be one of our main characters in this movie which is one of the many reasons

why I love it but without further ado let's jump into the cleansing hour so this movie came out

in 2019 it's about an hour and 34 minutes it has a six a six period six period, six out of ten on IMDB, and a 73% on

Rotten Tomatoes, which not too bad for a horror movie. I honestly think this movie deserves a little

bit more because, again, I think it's really unique and different and unlike any possession
