| 1:28.0 | you're going to start eating when you're a little hungry and you're going to eat until you're lightly satisfied. |
| 1:36.0 | And if we think about it on that hunger scale that we talked about back in episode 3, |
| 1:42.0 | the hunger scale goes from minus 10 starving to plus 10 stuffed. |
| 1:47.0 | Zero in the middle is neutral. |
| 1:50.0 | And you're going to aim to eat when you're a little hungry minus 2 to a little full plus 2. |

| 2:01.0 | But I want you to begin to think of it as your own internal thermostat, kind of like the |
| 2:07.7 | gas gauge for your car. You don't feel your car because the gas is on sale or because it's available in your driving past a filling station. |

| 2:22.3 | So your hunger scale shows you that you're a little |
| 2:26.0 | empty or a little full. It tells you when to start eating and if you're listening to the signals from your body when to stop as well. |
