This month our episodes are going to be focused on something unusual.

Let me tell you a little about it.

All through history people have lived and died.

rulers have come to leadership and then passed on leaving someone else to take their place, all throughout history, cities, and buildings

have been designed and built and lived in only to eventually be rebuilt, torn down, or even abandoned. It is those abandoned towns, cities, and

buildings that are often the most intriguing.

Tumble down walls, peeling paint, broken windows that allow dust and dirt to blow in and pile up in the corners.

These are the places that once bustled with noise in life. These are the

discarded, abandoned places of the world.

Some of these places are abandoned because their inhabitants simply moved elsewhere, leaving no one to maintain the structure. Eventually, nature grows up to reclaim the land.

All over the world there are thousands of abandoned cities, towns, homes, factories, hospitals,

military outposts, and every other kind of man-made place you can imagine.

Each one is a fading picture of what once was. The abandoned places that I'm going to tell you

about in this month's episodes are rich in history. This episode will be centered around an abandoned place that once was

filled with the sounds of human life, but now the only sounds are those of the woodland creatures who live in the trees and shrubbery

that is reclaiming the land and the wind whistling through the broken windows. This place is just a bit spooky, so be brave as you walk with me down the path of history that tells the story of this episode's abandoned place.

We are going to be traveling back in time to more than 100 years ago to a time where the date was

just a short time before the calendar turned to 1900. The world was soon going to be introduced to one of the most villainous

of all real life villains. Don't be afraid. I'm right here with you. Adolf Hitler is a name that is probably at least somewhat familiar to you

because this evil man has become one of history's most infamous bad guys. He was really that bad.

Although this episode isn't going to be all about Hitler. He does have a small but
