Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I'm so excited today about what I get to share

with you. We have been going through a series on the mission of Motherhood. A book I wrote

a long time ago and still have the same convictions today and today we're going to be talking

about education, the teaching mother and I am so committed to this area as a matter of

fact the older I become the more I feel passionate about the idea that education is so important

and throughout scripture and in Proverbs 31 and Proverbs 8 and 9 and I see it in the life

of Timothy we see it in the admonition for women to teach younger women. We see that

women are created by God because they have the ability to think because they've been given

a great mind. We look at the amazing passage of Mary in the Magnificat. We see great examples

of how women who exercise in sharpen their minds and who exercise that muscle of the ability

to think well can influence so many people all over the world. I am not just speaking to

home schoolers today or home editors as they say in the UK but there are so many different

ways to really focus on educating our children and yet I did love the opportunity that I

had through my home to really be a teacher to my children because I think that in the

midst of it I became educated. So before we even start out this time together today I

want to say to all of you who feel like well I can't teach my children because I don't

have a great education. All you need in order to teach your children profound truths and

to help them to become excellent in thinking is to become a person who is interested engaged
