I'm How did I not see this coming? I guess I didn't think this through.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Year of Polygamy Podcast.

This is your host, Lindsay, and I'm excited to ring in, well, not ring in,

to end, what's the ring out, ring out the new year or the end of the year. Gosh, I don't even know how to

say this with this podcast. This is the last episode of 2019. There it is. That's what I needed.

And I'm really happy to have some friends on talking about one of my favorite topics, Mormon polygamy. Before we get into that and before I introduce those, I just want to thank everybody who's listened this year and been so supportive. I know it's been a really emotional year for me. And some of you have been so amazing.

And after I was very vulnerable on the podcast, you know, I got so many nice, nice things,

which is better than like blood atonement death threats that I sometimes get.

So thank you for not threatening to blood atone me today.

I really appreciate that.

And yeah, thank you for all the listeners who's been on this journey.

As you know, this is a very unique podcast. I can't believe it's as popular as it is. I just got

an email from iTunes and it was in the top 100 podcasts on iTunes, which I don't know if that's good or not.

It felt good. And yeah, it's been, it's a weird, weird podcast, but I really appreciate everyone that listens

and all the non-Mormons that listen.

I can't imagine what you think of all this crazy Mormon world.

But I, you know, I was just talking with our guests earlier about how diverse this podcast

is.

It's really great because we have so many LDS people,

ex-LDS people, fundamentalists, ex-fundamentalists. And it's so amazing how this podcast has sort of brought

these communities together and open up a dialogue to talk about our shared history, because we

really do have more in common than some of us like to admit. And that can be a really beautiful thing.
