You probably already know Susan as the author of transgender history and a founder of the

field of trans studies.

Last week marked the release of the book Wind Monsters Speak, a Susan

striker reader, which was edited by Mackenzie Wark, and which features an eclectic sampling of

Susan's work over the last 30 years.

As such in this interview, we talk about what it's like to

republish your trans-B-DSM erotica in an academic reader. To go back into the 90s and just

talk a lot about like fucking is you know it's just like oh what grandma just say you know and what

Transgender even meant back in the 1990s
