This almost never happens.

This is a very special episode of coming out with Lauren and Nicole.

We are a weekly podcast where we have queer folks on from all walks of life.

They often, usually, tell the tales of how they came out to friends, family, and the world at large.

Because who often does not enjoy a coming out story?

And today you'll probably hear snippets of things like that, but this is a special Thanksgiving episode talking about Polly Emery. And we're all queer folks who also identify

as Polly with the exception of Lauren. We love you. Hi! Lauren is decidedly monogamous. And we love her. And she is here representing the monogamous

community who have questions about Polly.

I'm also the worst person to do because I've been single for like a decade, so it's like

very conceptual for me to be monogamous at this point.

But that's what we're working with.

And yeah, so without further ado, oh, well, I will also say very quickly, the reason that we wanted to do this episode leading up to Thanksgiving is because, you know, on Thanksgiving, at least in the most ideal way when we've had to co-opt this from the horrific colonial roots that it has.

Reclaiming Thanksgiving, I feel in a lot of ways, looks like coming to the table with people you love

and sharing and, yeah, talking about what we're grateful for and, I don't know, being honest

with each other.

So in that way, we wanted to bring a bunch of people to the table today to talk about
