Sydney. Happy Friday. Happy March. Happy mid-March. I'm all fucked up because I am filming this way

business. No, it's because I'm filming them literally back to back. So, because I'm going to be in

Texas when you guys hear this episode. I will be at South by Southwest. And I'm going to have to do

my next video episode as well. But that one, I'll change up for that one. I'll give you a change of scenery for that one. But yeah, so when you're hearing this, I will be in Texas. But I hope everybody is getting warmer. Everything's getting warmer. It's getting brighter because time change. The sun is coming back. Life is worth living again. It's going to be great. It's going to be fine.

We're all going to make it. So last video episode, we talked about mirrors and I talked about how it had a really low Rotten Tomatoes rating.

And I feel like we're just like going downhill in terms of the ratings since then because today's movie has an even lower rating, which is crazy to me because today we're

talking about Darkness Falls. And I will say, I did not watch Darkness Falls as a kid.

So I watched it later in life, like kind of as an adult because I had never, that's just

not one that really crossed my radar during my 2000s horror stint in the 2000s. I just never really

heard about it, never knew about it. So I watched that one later on when I was more of an adult.

I was probably in my 20s. And it didn't scare me for that reason. I don't dislike it. But I

understand why so many people have trauma surrounding this movie. And it's because a lot of people

watch this as a kid and that's utterly fucking terrifying. I will say, I think this is the most

requested movie I get. It's either between Darkness Falls and Stay Alive, both for like

TikTok spoilers and for pod episodes. This is probably the most requested movie that I get because

Darkness Falls is so beloved. It is so beloved in the horror community and in the film community

in general. And again, it's because I think a lot of people saw it as a kid and it fucked them up royally.
