Well, not right here because I'm in L.A., of course. You're in New York. and our guest, Dave Simonski, is in Buffalo, New York.

Dave Simonski, is in Buffalo, New York. He's the vice president of sales at United Precious Metals, a refinery, a primary refiner. We're going to learn all about what that means

and what he does, but he's here, of course, to talk about medals. I think the subject of

the moment of the year, perhaps the decade, it's been

all on every jeweler's mind. I think the first piece of news or first website, many jewelers

check in the morning is Kitko or some analogous site on what the price of gold is doing. So I think

we felt, and this was your idea, Rob, a really

great idea to have Dave on the show because we really need to understand what's happening in

this marketplace and why it's been so volatile and what retailers can do to sort of optimize

their businesses, mitigate some of these challenges of replenishing

inventory. Anyway, that's a very long preamble to say, welcome, Dave. Really nice to have you.
