It's the 19th of April 1999, just northeast of Melbourne.

At around 9 a.m. neighbors hear the screams of a woman coming from the house of 28-year-old

psychotherapist Nicole Amanda Patterson.

Thinking it's just a domestic dispute, they decide to ignore the screams as it's soon quiet.
