Hello and welcome back to Accrak. I'm Jed Wolpaw and we are back with another COVID-related episode. This one is going to be related to COVID and pregnancy, but before I introduce our guest, I want to just say a couple of things.

So one of my former medical students, Taylor Purvis, now of course, Dr. Taylor Purvis, wrote a book for kids about COVID.

And so if you are out there, you've got kids and you're trying to figure out how to kind of explain

this to them, this is a great resource It's available for free and I will put the

link in the show notes, totally free opportunity to read a children's book with your kids

about COVID if that's something you're interested in. The other thing I want to

announce is that there are a lot of online resources becoming available to help residents

and other trainees who are interested in trying to keep up

their knowledge who aren't having in-person sessions. One of them that came to my

attention is that Aniseia Toolbox, if your institution subscribes to

that, has an online learning session every

weekday at one o'clock and it's multi-institutional so you can actually work

along with other trainees at other institutions so that's something to check

out and put a link to that in the

show notes as well. As it turns out even if your institution does not

subscribe to Aniseia Toolbox, the Toolbox is actually offering free

subscriptions for a couple of months due to the pandemic to really give the opportunity

for remote learning to anybody out there.
