Hey guys, my name is John Kim. I'm a licensed therapist and life coach putting

struggle with mindfulness and meditation is because I'm someone who likes instant gratification because I'm a total child and

the thing about mindfulness is you don't see instant gratification right your or

meditation you don't see the results right away. It's kind of a

gradual slow burn appealing of, right? It's a changing, almost like a seasonal change that happens internally

but when you realize and understand that it actually changes the brain that then

can definitely motivate you, right?

And so it changes, so neuroscientists have also shown that practicing mindfulness affects the brain like related to

perception body awareness pain tolerance emotional regulation introspection

complex thinking and sense of self.

Like this idea of the science behind mindfulness.
