The one thing we grew during the pandemic was billionaires.

It was during a course of a pendant.

At that same time, the financial press started

entertaining a question of when America would see its first trillionaires.

We're constantly prevented from making the social progress domestically that we need to do,

and that's absolutely required.

That brings us around the back to the topic of today's conversation.

We've eased into this one.

I'm here with John Nichols, the Washington correspondent for the Nation,

a contributing writer for the Progressive in these times,

in the Associate Editor of Madison West Consons,

coronavirus criminals and the pandemic profiteers.

A great read I had an opportunity to finish it just this morning.

I want to ask you, before we get into the topic of this book,

you alluded just now to not really knowing what the strength and force of the protest movement

in Russia is like right now, but I want to ask you about the protest movement,

the anti-war movement, are kind of lack thereof that we're seeing stateside,

and we've had guests on recently that have made comparisons,

not flattering comparison, to the level of kind of engagement in the streets that we're seeing now,

versus in the 80s or even 90s.
