What is up, you spooky bitches? We are back with another episode of the Hello Sydney podcast here,

a podcast for horror lovers where we discuss any and all things horror and it's me,

your girl, Sydney. Happy Friday, happy end of January. We made it. Everybody give yourselves like

get yourself a little treat or something. We made it through the longest month of the year.

What always seems to be the longest month of the year, we have officially made it.

This is our last episode. We are wrapping up 2025 favorites. I've had a blast this month,

even though it did drag on at least halfway through. I've had a blast doing these episodes

because it's all movies that I really enjoy.

And that helps that next month I'm going to be doing movies that I don't enjoy at all.

We'll get to that at the end. I'll give you guys the lineup. But today we're talking about

the long walk. And the long walk was my number one favorite horror movie of 2025. And I think it's even my number one Stephen King

adaptation of all time. Like it is dethroned misery. Dr. Sleep was up there. Has it dethroned Shawshank

Redemption in the Green Mile? I don't know about that. I'm talking like horror movies

specifically. I don't consider those to be horror movies,

but those are two of my favorite movies of all time. I can't even count those because it's not even

fair to compare anything to those. But horror wise, yeah, I think the long walk officially

dethroned all the other horror adaptations for being my favorite Stephen King adaptation of all time.

This movie moved me in ways that I, you're going to see because I'm going to cry. There's no way that I get through

this episode without crying because this movie is just so beautiful and inspirational and hopeful,

yet also being hopeless at the same exact time.

It's just so beautiful.

And I feel like it's what our society needs right now.
