And it's me, your girl, Sydney. Happy Friday. Happy New Year. Is everybody having a good start

to the year? Has anybody been watching anything good? That new movie, Primate came out. I haven't

re-seen it, but I did see it in September

at Fantastic Fest. And it is a bloody, gory good time, I will say. Usually January horror releases

have a bad rap for being bad, like very bad. Like, look at last year, like the wolfman. Eek,

very forgettable. But primate was a blast um so i don't think

they've changed it since i've seen it i do want to go see it again if i have time but primate is a blast

again a lot of gore like really cool creative kill scenes they use all practical effects which i'm a

massive fan of so yeah go check out primate if you've seen it. Did you like

yet? I think it was good. Good start to the year. Like, not bad. Again, better than last year's

start with Wolfman. What the fuck was that? We are talking about an animal movie today, but the

animal movie we're talking about today is not about an animal going mad and being rabid and vicious. No, no. It is instead an

animal movie that is going to tear at your heartstrings and rip your fucking heart out of your

body pretty much is the equivalent of what I felt like the first time I watched it. Now, I first watched

Good Boy at South by Southwest last year. So that would have been in March of

2025. So like on the like near a year ago at this point, like 10 months ago. And we went in

blind to this movie. Like we knew it was about a dog. We knew all we knew about this movie was that it

was a haunted house movie from the dog's perspective. And we were like, oh, shit, okay,

is the dog going to die? We can't fucking handle this. Like, what is this going to be about?

And we went in and I've never seen a dog emote like the dog in this movie does. Like,
