After experiencing strange poltergeist-like activity such as footprints on walls and dark shadow figures lurking in the night, Ken and his girlfriend Debbie would begin to experience something even stranger: typed messages left on his computer, seemingly from a man living in the 1500s. As time wore on and the messages became more unhinged, the man behind the messages would begin appearing to Debbie in her dreams. The man often appeared in her nightmares draped in flames, until one day he began appearing not in her dreams - but in person.
