You wish you could be this free.

I am a daughter.

Behold the voice of God living in me, my voice.

Robbed under velvety night stars, the badge on my chest failed to protect me.

There was no leaping into action, I forget to remember.

I used to love me, dance to walking baselines, ride horses into the sun, where are you?

My land has witnessed this before, watered by the blood of my ancestors.

Their pain reaches root, feel this land.

Child, born of September moon, you are being called home.
