everybody? Merry Christmas. Merry New Year. Merry fucking end of 2025. We have, we've officially

wrapped. This is it. This is the final episode. I feel like I'm so movied out now that it's the end of the

year. But what I have been watching, stranger things,

quick question, what the fuck is that? Like, what the fuck is that? I have seen a lot of people say

that they are disappointed in volume two. I am one of those people. I just feel like they are just,

it's just, they're doing so much unnecessary stuff. this is the final this is the end we have two more

hours of this show ever like i feel like we still have so many questions and there was so much stuff

that was introduced that was just unnecessary and we're focusing so much on holly and like i just feel so

disconnected from the main party which is so upsetting because like episode four everybody four, everybody was together. It felt great. Episode four was so good. And then they follow it up with that. I just don't understand. And I feel like there's so many plot holes. Like, how are they able to communicate in the upside down with walkie talkies now? How has there been this flush wall down there that makes the upside down something completely different? and all years going down there this is the first time they've ever noticed it. I don't know, guys. Maybe I'm being a fucking hater. But if they Game of Thrones me, I swear to God, I will never trust a fucking TV show again. I will never trust a fucking TV show again other than heated rivalry because that is a fucking masterpiece. Oh my God. I've gone to the cottage like probably 15 times in less than a week. Like yeah, I probably watched the episode like 15 times, at least, at the very least. I'm obsessed. I am a feral animal. I cannot be contained. I need to be sedated. I need to be put in a padded room until the next season, which isn't going to come until 2027, probably. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. I don't remember who I was before this show. Okay. I don't know who I am without this show. But yeah, at least I had that to fall back on on Christmas because what the fuck, stranger things. Like, yeah, I was just really disappointed. I feel like barely anything happened, like very little action, just just very upsetting. And that's the first time I've ever felt that way about that show. Because I love Stranger Things. I've loved it for a decade. I think every season is great. There's not one season that I can say I didn't like. And yeah, this season is like letting me down these last three episodes, which is really

upsetting because this is the last we're ever going to get of it. So I don't know. Hopefully they

save it with the finale, but we will see. Anyway, we are wrapping up December and wrapping up the

year with one final Christmas themed horror movie. And I'm actually glad that I am ending on this one

because it's not so much Christmas themed as it's just cold themed.

Like this movie is so physically cold, but also just very bleak and very numbing.

Like it's just all around cold.

So even though it is a very bleak and kind of disturbing movie to end the year on, I think it's also very fitting.

let's jump into the movie we're talking about today, which is The Lodge. And the Lodge came out in

2019. It's about an hour and 40 minutes long. It has a six on IMDB and a 75% on Rotten Tomatoes,

which I think it deserves higher, but I would align more with the

Rotten Tomatoes score on this one. But I think this is a great movie. So the Lodge opens up,
