Pushkin. There was a level that I lived at for a long time and I became comfortable in which was just I don't feel great. I don't look forward to doing much but I can get out of bed I can go to work I can make the meetings I can make the flights and I can talk on stage and nobody would know that I was I was sick.

And medicine and electro-convulsive therapy got me to that level again because I was far below that and that got me to that level again where adding

exercise and therapy and

15 other things got me to a level where I'm not just getting by and making a living but I'm

thriving and I've never been happier or more accepting of myself and had more energy to do things beyond just get to the show

podcast is Gary Goldman. He is a six foot six comedian who was

born and raised in Peabody, Massachusetts, currently works and hails out of

New York City and is a very very funny comedian.

I say that at the top because the conversation you're about to hear

It's not that funny. I'm gonna be honest with you. It's not that funny

But what is funny is Gary's new special which just dropped on HBO last week. It's called The Great Depression, and I want to play a clip from that now. I have taken antidepressants on and on for 30 years and because of the nature of antidepressants sometimes they don't work and you have to try something else.

Sometimes they work and then they stop working and you have to try something else.

Sometimes they work, but they're not good enough. You need to augment them with something.

So over the years, I have tried Pamela, Nortriptlin, well, Butrin, Zoloft, Paxil,

Abilify Adderall, ativan, clonopin, deloxitine, metazepine, sertraline,

epexa, selexa, cyprexa.

At one point my doctor said. Selexa, Zyprexa.

At one point my doctor said, let's just try drugs that rhyme.
