This is Donald Trump destroying Ben Carson during a rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa roughly four years ago.

We're going to talk a lot in this episode about some of the fluctuations in Iowa and it made me think about where

we were at this stage last cycle and it reminded me of the surge of Ben Carson not

unlike Mayor Pete this was some of with the residents of Iowa. Of course, he was not the only dark course in the

Republican primary race. Donald Trump was also there. And so this magical

moment was made.

During one of the famously freewheeling Trump rallies,

he decides to go in on Ben Carson

using the good doctor's own book, which was also adapted into a movie

starring Cuba Gooding Jr. Indeed before Ben Carson became a brain surgeon

he was somebody that had a very rough temper. And so Trump

goes through these stories one by one. The time he swung a hammer at his mother, the time he hit his friend in the

face with a padlock, but this is the big one. He took a knife and he went after a friend and he lunged. He lunged that knife into the stomach of his friends, but lo and behold, it hit the belt.

It hit the belt.

And the knife broke.
