Hello, I'm Sophia Lusbexter and welcome to Spinning Plates, the podcast where I speak to

to busy working women who also happen to be mothers about how they make it work.

I'm a singer and I've released seven albums in between having my five sons aged 16 months to 16

years, so I spin a few plates myself.

Being a mother can be the most amazing thing,

but can also be hard to find time for yourself

and your own ambitions.

I want to be a bit nosy

and see how other people balance everything.

It's a little rhyme for you there.

I don't know how I'm doing it right now because I'm surviving on so little sleep

do you ever have that?

Go through phases of just having sort of

four or five hours per night

I think I haven't slept longer than a four or five hour chunk

for at least a week, maybe longer.

It's getting a bit boring. It takes me while to drop off because I'm kind of overtired. for at least a week, maybe longer.
