148 of Marathon Talk. I'm going to do. So, On this week's show we're talking about the New York City Marathon that wasn't.

For the first time in history New York was cancelled.

We look back at why and some reaction from runners,

including Phileas Jog, Adam Chatterway,

an elite Scott overall, and Susan Partridge,

as well as regular marathon talk listener Ben Wickham.

There's the normal podium, Tony's Trials and You rant and rave.

Tom, you've been everywhere this week.

I have been everywhere.

It's ridiculous.

I'm on my park-run tour, visiting as many of the UK teams I possibly can.

The odometer on the car currently says 1,450 miles and that's not including a return flight to Northern Ireland or or any of our mileage driving round or the northern Irish events.

Not bad for 10 days. That's pretty impressive mileage,

especially in that battered out old hire car that you're in.

Well, what wasn't about that out before we started? You're in some swanky big Lexus now, aren't you?

I wish. I mean a little say at Layon, but yeah, it's been right. It's been really good,

actually. We met 56 Park Run teams, 7 prospective Park Run teams, Northern Ireland was just amazing.

I must give a really big shout out to all the marathon talk listeners and park run show

listeners.

I've met so many on the way, far too many to mention I afraid I would be here all day but the support for the show has been absolutely brilliant and loads

people saying that things like the tide in an analogy we use and stuff has really helped them so that was great
