And joining us today is an English singer, arranger, composer, producer and

multi-instrumentalist and without a doubt one of the most gifted musicians currently walking amongst us.

In January of last year 2018 he began work on the colossal globetroting genre hopping four-volume opus

Jesse which sees him traverse jazz pop folk rock funk world music and

everything in between with the help of some special guests it was shortly after

volume two's release a few months ago that we had the pleasure of meeting with its creator

to chat about its making and much else besides.

We're delighted to welcome the Preetan naturally talented

Jacob Coliette of the show.

We interviewed Jacob at The Something Else Officers in London,

Shoreditch back in July and as we expected it was so much fun to talk to him

a thoroughly lovely guy with an infectious enthusiasm for what he does.

Music basically just courses through his veins, doesn't it?

Cut him and he bleeds, semi-quavers. He's what our American cousins might call a phenom and demonstrates quite

breathtaking ability on pretty much any instrument you could name

with the knowledge of theory that is beyond me and mortals. Check him out on YouTube explaining the concept of

Jacob was born in North London in 1994,

brought up in a family of musicians and exposed to all kinds of music at a very young age,

from Bach to Stravinsky to Earth Wind and Fire and Bobby McFerrin.
