Hi, Real Lifers. I hope you had a nice week. I am so excited about this episode because I got to chat with New York

Times bestselling author Brian Moylan about his book, The Housewives, the real story behind

the real housewives. We had a great chat. I did my very best to listen to almost

every other interview he had done on a podcast, and I tried not to repeat any of the questions

other people had asked. So if I did, I apologize, but I tried very hard to have unique and interesting and different questions

for him. Before we get to the chat with Brian, just wanted to share some brief thoughts on Beverly

Hills and New York and know that next week I am going to get way more into Beverly Hills in New York with my guests.

But first of all, on Beverly Hills, I just have to say, like everyone else, I adore Kathy Hilton on this show.

Her kooky, crazy energy is giving me life.

I love that she can't see, that she put ear drops in her eyes, that she has no

idea what Red Bill is, and that she has such bad insomnia, and she insists on keeping other

people awake just because she can't sleep. I also am very much liking Crystal on this show.

As a person, I don't know if Crystal's my type of girl,

because she does seem to have a bit of a mean girl streak,

but for the show, I absolutely adore her.

And I really appreciated the conversation that she had with Sutton.

It wasn't going anywhere that first night where she was trying to say,

well, you don't see color. Tell me you're that girl. And of course, Sutton doesn't take this

very well. And Sutton believes that it is good not to see color, that she was raised to try and

be colorblind, and that being called a racist is the worst possible thing in the world.
