Last episode we talked about a man who I could not get out of my mind. He was an inspiring fellow named Barley McSquigglesburg. And he went overboard chasing after a sirens beautiful voice. Rest in peace, Barley. However, he stuck with me and I thought as a young lad, what an honor it was to know such a seamen who was a swashbuckler at heart.

And though the clinks be long, my heart strings beeth longer for that young lad who was taken by the sea before the time was done. And so I honor our dear, dear, dear old mate, Barley.

And I, Captain Hagrid McPherson, have never given up looking for Barley McSquigglesworth, which is why I have my lighted torch upon the seas. And I continue to look for him and I have never given up hope.

Yeah, never a night be patheth where the light didn't stay lit. I am also a bard. Wow. Yes, and here I, I have brought my liar. Are you gonna play us some liar by the fire? Because I would love to hear some liar on this old ship. That is full of stories as you can see behind me. I have many old leather books that are bound and I'm excited to open those up while we have some liars.

First of all, many compliments to the chef that cooked together that background because it is quite enjoyable. I love it. Full of haunted tomes. In fact, if you're an audio only listener, this entire intro is going to be very frustrating. And I'm sure my voice sounds very muffled because of my giant gray beard and don't worry. I will lower it when I begin telling the tales that are happening this episode.

But yeah, Nat has a very beautiful background of what looks to be an ancient library full of cursed tomes. But to get back to the original question that Barley McScriggle's worth asked me, but may our moments ago, I do have a liar with me and it is a children's $10 liar from Ye old Amazon.

So I tried to tune it and it was not possible. It's untunable. But I will go ahead and stream a strum you a few chords regardless.

Other ones were two glasses named Nat and Ali. They recorded a podcast on a ship at sea. Everything was going very smoothly until came Davy Jones who ate them up for free. Hey, wow, never has once a jig brightened my spirits before. Thank you, captain.

For that beautiful song. It reminds me of the days of your when I was just a young lad younger than this lad be now. This might be the worst episode we've ever done. Maybe we cut out the entire intro and it's only for the patrons.

You know what, I just had a semi serious thought by the time this listener's stories comes out this Wednesday, that Wednesday Eve, both the captain and this lad Barley will be out in an awards show where we may or may not win an award and depending on the outcome of that for boating evening, we may be in terrible moods or moods as high as a liar in the sky.
