Hi, I'm John Paul Vosquez. Hi, I'm Travis Hunter. This week, we're recording live from an imagined movie theater discussing the 1999 supernatural

horror film, Stir of Echoes.

This film was directed by David Kep with a screenplay by Kep based off the novel A Stur

of Echoes by Richard Matheson.

This loose adaptation elevates its core of a murder mystery

with genuine scares, unsettling effects,

and committed performances by its cast.

Though widely regarded as underrated,

due in no small part to its release

after the massively successful films,

The Blair Witch Project in the Sixth Sense,

Stur of Echoes, is a late 90s horror gem.

This film was requested to us by Friends of the Show, Miguel Myers ATX, Anthony Jerome M, Blaine

Hancock, and our grandma, Sherry Mosley. We want to thank them all so much for their support

and for this suggestion. So, what did you guys think of Stereveco's the first time you saw it? When this movie came out, I was 15, so I know I didn't go see it in the theater. Okay. Not saying that I didn't go to the movies then, but I know I didn't go see this movie in the theater. I do remember watching it though on DVD and loving it.

And I was like, oh, it's fucking nuts.

I'm almost positive that Kevin Bacon had a lot to do with that.

So I was like, all right.

You love tremors.

Well, no, yeah.

But this movie is good.
