| 1:31.6 | or until you stop binging or until you get your life more together. |
| 1:37.0 | Well this is a little bit like beating up a puppy because it's not housebroken yet or punishing a child who can't read yet. You would never do those things, but you do even |
| 1:48.2 | worse to yourself just for being where you are right now. |
| 1:53.2 | You think if you don't excel right now, |
| 1:56.1 | you need to beat yourself to get where you want to go. |
| 1:59.8 | But the beating makes you feel less than, demoralized, even more unworthy, with no hope of changing. |
| 2:09.3 | And that feels so bad that you escape that feeling by eating way more than you need way more often. |
| 2:17.0 | So what's the answer? |
| 2:19.0 | The answer is making peace with your weight, your body, and your thoughts right now. |
| 2:25.0 | I know it sounds and feels counterintuitive, but hating yourself makes you pull away and stop. |
