some fun activities for your kids, and our summer read-alouds.

I don't know if we are or not. We're kind of on summer break.

I don't have an official last day of summer.

I see these other moms that have this big party.

And I thought your story was so fun on Instagram last week when you're like, it's officially summer.

And I thought, oh, that's so fun.

Part of it is the weather too. I feel like when it puts the summer bug in me, then I'm like, okay, we're on summer break. Definitely. Because when it's still cold and dreary and rainy, I think, well,

what are we going to do? We're not going to go swimming. We're not going to go to the beach. So we

might as well read some books and do some school and things like that, you know, because otherwise are just going to be fidgety. For us, summer starts when the weather's good. And right now,

we've definitely phased out of almost everything. So I know you're on summer break. Yeah, and I don't

want to think about school for at least two months. I just really don't. I want to be able to put it on

the back burner. We do our read alouds every day. In fact, we did that today. We're on our last book finally of the Chronicles of

Narnia, so we're so excited. It's so fun to finish. It's serious, but yes, it's bittersweet because you

want it to go on and on. You're so attached to the characters. I know, but we're excited too.

So I have three readers now, Tribe, my six-year-old, he finally is starting to read. So I asked them to read at least a chapter of the book

that they're reading every day. I just always really push reading. I just want to make sure we're

always reading. And then, yeah, like you said, we do a little bit of math, especially math games.

We play through the summer. But other than that, we don't do any official school in the summer and our family lives for summer. We love the hot weather. Well, not my husband so much.
