Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast. One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

Each week I will review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication.

And welcome back to another edition in which I get to explore, as I talked about last episode,

a collection that really meant a lot to to me talking about nightmares and dreamscapes

which happened to be the first new publication by Stephen King that I got to experience as a Stephen King fan

because up until that point I had been reading all of Stephen King's works that had been published previous to this.

So when it comes to nightmares and dreamstapes, guys, it will always hold a special place

in my heart. So it was great for me to revisit it back when I reviewed it and the first,

you know, chunk of short stories the first time around and it was just as fun revisiting it the second time around.

So what I'll be doing in this episode is pretty straightforward. I will be getting to all of

the short stories that I did not review on my first go with my analysis of this collection. But before I get there, I want to read some emails.

I've been meaning to write you for a while. I've always loved the movies that have come from Stephen King Works, but for the longest time I wasn't reading them. A few years back, a friend and I both read It at the same time, and holy cow, it changed my life. In the last year or so, I've gotten heavily back into reading and almost exclusively Stephen King. When I found your show, I went through and listened to only what I had seen or read, and it's been great to listen to someone dissect the works the way that you do,

and I'm still enjoying them as I go. Thanks so much for that. The podcast I'm started on is a very

Ghostbusters heavy podcast, and we've since moved on to pop culture and movies in general.

It's actually pretty funny. In your last show, which was a while ago, this is an older

email, you were talking about how annoyed you were getting with Sony for handling the Dark Tower

so far, and we know all about that. We were super heavy into production with the Ghostbusters

reboot, and Sony was having some of the same issues with that. It was super frustrating.

In the last few months, we've talked about King a lot and mentioned your podcast multiple times.

We actually all traveled to the Stanley a few weeks ago and recorded an episode from there.
