Summary

Adam Roberge is on a tear. By my count, he's won the past three consecutive races, four out of the past five, plus plenty more to his tally this year alone. Today we'll talk about all the things you might imagine, the two of us racing together and landing in identical spots on consecutive weekends, how he got into cycling, what's happening with the general state of cycling in Canada, and his national championship win this year. 0:11.7	This, of course, is not live, but I have been live and in person racing against Adam
0:16.3	Roberch the past two race weekends, which is why I'm eager and happy to have them on the show today.
0:22.4	We've been tiptoeing across the northern U.S., just south of the southern Canadian border,
0:27.2	as we duked it out in tiny Paisic, North Dakota, in mid-July,
0:31.4	and then here in late July in Whitefish, Montana, at the last best ride,
0:35.5	where we were this past weekend, where we recorded this conversation.
0:38.8	Both terrific events, both very different events in terms of their size, the size of the towns,
0:45.0	their elevation maps. The Nepomac gnarly and Pysic, for example, was rolling farm country
0:49.9	with some dynamic, punchy stuff, whereas TLBR is rolling and then with one massive climb up and down nearly 7,000 feet to
0:57.9	the top of a ski area.
0:59.6	Again, both awesome events, and we will chit-chat about both of them today.
1:04.4	Where they are also the same, in addition to being great events, is that they have the same
1:08.3	top two results in the men's race.
1:11.3	Adam won. I was second both times. same top two results in the men's race. Adam won.
1:16.1	I was second both times. Adam pipped me in the sprint in North Dakota and then he just, quite frankly, outrode me in Montana, so credit where credit is due.
1:20.9	Adam first came on my radar, I would say, in 2021, and he is steadily and impressively improved
