they were really fucked up and backwards.

And we're gonna do things better,

and we're gonna show them better and we're gonna show them and oh my god it's so

fucking hard and why don't people really pay attention to how hard we're working we're

depressed and I think that's part and parcel with the nature of the thing.

Welcome to the show. Oh, Hello everyone welcome to the show. Before we get into it with Wyatt, I just want to pay my respects to John Singleton and his family.

The very talented director passed away over the last week and it

is a tremendous, absolutely tremendous loss in the film industry.

You have probably seen Boys in the Hood, but you should also see higher learning and four

brothers and even his Fast and Furious movie is good. He was a deeply talented craftsman.

I think often the conversation around him is about

the racial barriers that he broke, which he totally did,

and in that way way is unbelievably important.

But he was a deeply talented filmmaker first and foremost and a true artist and

in my very limited experience, a good, generous, warm and kind person in this world.

It is never easy to lose anyone, but it is more painful when you lose someone too early.

So my respects to John Singleton and his family,

I think his legacy will live on not only in his own work, but of all the films and filmmakers
