Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Asian Boss Girl podcast.

For today's episode, we are going to talk through something that I still feel

pretty vulnerable in you about sharing, but I think it's time.

As many of you avid listeners out there know by now, and for those of you who are just tuning in

and fresh this podcast, I, Helen, am pregnant with my first child, and it is a wild, wild place to be.

Even hearing those words coming out of my mouth, I'm like, who Janet, who Mel, who my sister,

who's pregnant me? It's weird. I have obviously never experienced something like this before,

and as someone who has always wanted to be a mom, it's funny because I'm in this weird place where

I don't feel prepared at all, having completely jumped ship from a secure corporate job with benefits

and an incredible support system, and having left that less than two years ago to pursue the

stream and passion, which is this podcast and this community and building something beautiful

with two of my closest friends. It's been an utterly scary, yet beyond grateful place to be.

And today, we are going to talk about all of it. Mel and Janet were one of the first people

to find out about my pregnancy, so they've been along with me on this journey for the past three

months of my current six-month journey. Oh my god, yes, this episode has been long overdue.

I still remember when we found out back in May, was it? When you had just passed your first trimester,

I was literally in shock. I know that you had mentioned to Mel and I earlier in the year

that you and Phil were open to start trying, but in the craziness of everything that was going on,

you know, between adjusting to doing ABG full-time, to you guys, you know, buying your first home

and flipping it to all of the stuff that was happening around the world. And then in May,
