happen here on the podcast when we got to have Stephen Curtis Chapman on. You know, like

many of you who grew up in the Christian faith, I grew up with his music my whole life

and just loved it and it impacted me greatly. So having him on the show was amazing. And

today is just as fun. His daughter Emily Chapman Richards is here today. And I think you

are going to love this conversation. She is the new executive director of show hope,

which is a nonprofit that the Chapman family started to care for orphans by engaging the

church and reducing barriers to adoption. She is just the coolest. I think you guys are

going to love this conversation. So here is our friend Emily Chapman Richards.

How did you entertain her me on a blind date? No way. At Starbucks. Wish it was a cooler

coffee shop. Was it the Starbucks and Cool Springs? Was it the Christian? Yeah. Yeah.

Who's such a lot of mutual friends? Yeah. I was home from college on my summer break.

And I had always heard about the Richards because my friends, our mutual friends would go

and help out on their farm. And I had painted this picture in my mind that the Richards

were that was, you know, like this elderly couple. Yeah sure. Like sweet to go help them

with their horses and whatnot. And so I was like, who are the Richards? They were all

talking about them one night. And my, our friends eyes got about, you know, huge and round.
