I've been in the midst of some travels, and I'm on the brink of yet another trip.

By the time this episode airs, I'm going to be en route to Geneva.

I think actually the day I was the election.

I can't remember if I told you, but that I was asked to be a member of the jury on the Grand Prix de or Lojury, otherwise known as the GPHG, which is a very cliched way known as the watchmaking

Oscars.

So from what I understand, prestigious award ceremony, it happens on Wednesday, November 13th,

and I have to be in Geneva on Friday, November 8th to judge to actually, you know, see these

timepieces up close.

And there's a pretty prestigious panel that includes Mark Newson and Philippe Dufour, who's a legendary independent watchmaker

and a whole bunch of other people. So how big, how many people on the panel? You know,

that is a good question. I want to say there are about 20 or so judges. And do you,

do you see the pieces ahead of time and do they, the people presented?

Is it like American Idol or you're just kind of like?

It's basically, I mean, the pieces are, you know, available online for judging, but in terms of the actual in the metal, you know,
