Hey, everyone. Welcome to the jewelry district. This is Victoria Gamelski, editor-in-chief of JCPK and JCP J-C-K-Online.com, calling in from Los Angeles, and I'm with

Rob Bates, news director of J-C-K and J-C-K-Online.com calling in from New York City. How you doing?

I'm doing good. I'm doing good. Can I tell you about one weird thing that happened to me that I just want to put it out there in the world?

So on Monday night, we're recording this on a Friday, just a few nights ago. I get a big box in the mail

addressed to me ostensibly from Amazon. And, you know, I order a ton of stuff. So I'm always, like,

kind of confused when a box shows up. I don't quite know what it is, but I assume it's something I ordered. And so I open up the box and there's a second box inside also ostensibly from

Amazon, but it looks like it's been repackaged and taped kind of at somebody's home. So it just

looks all a little homemade and suspicious. And I open up that second box and there is the biggest American flag I've ever seen

in my whole entire life. It's the kind that you would see when you cross a border and, you know,

there it is hanging on, you know, on top of a government building or something. It is, we spread it out

last night. I think it's got to be like six by 12 with no, no, no explanation, no nothing. but it had my name and address on the outer box

so somebody sent me a giant american flag what am i supposed to make of this what would you make of

this actually there was a story i think it was last year and i followed it because it had like a

kind of slight jewelry angle

where people were getting seeds from Amazon that they didn't order. And then at some point,

they were getting jewelry from Amazon. And what they figured out was it was a way for these

companies to make it seem like they had more orders than they did.

It was like all from China and it was just kind of a way to game the Amazon algorithm.

But obviously I would try to make sure that they didn't charge you obviously.
