Hello, so it's Marsh here and I'm speaking to you from the distant well present actually

So you see as you mentioned on the last shore because Mike and Alice are off doing

Selfish things like going on holiday and relaxing and stuff like that.

We actually recorded this episode just coming up now at exactly the same time as the last

episode and indeed next episode and it was this mammoth five-hour recording session that

did very little for Alice's physical well-being and even less for Mike's mental

well-being. But you know we plowed on through because we love our listeners and

because Mike's O-C-D wouldn't allow him to go missing for a full month because he's a

bit of a completest as you know. So all's well and good and essentially I

get to have five weeks off from

podcasting so I'm fairly happy at this point and then literally 20 minutes

after we finished recording a month and a half's worth of Shores the fabulous people at the Australian Skeptics

announced that I'm going to be speaking for them at the National Convention in November.

Typical timing, right? So that's why you've got this teaser of me all on my own back in Blighty while Mike and Alice are off sunning themselves on a Cypriotic beach and nerding themselves up at a Texan web conference trying to avoid all of the Christians and all of the

guns and I let you figure out which is which there. So the long and short of it is I am

really really fucking excited to be going to actual Australia to speak for a sceptics group that I

admire a huge amount. The Ozzy Skeptics really are one of the best if not the best

skeptical organization in the world and they're great great people of huge

fans of theirs and I cannot wait until November 26th to 28th to take all of our

listeners in Oz through some of the work that I've been doing and the adventures that we've been having

and the things that we've been up to in the last few years in terms of stuff we do with the Merseys
