Someday when this is over, my heart whispers, I will walk free and stand taller.

Breathe easy and smile more.

Laugh a lot, hug sisters and paint with children.

Laugh for no reason at all.

Watch the sunrise, blow bubbles, make rainbows with the garden hose.

Because from this Rashmi of the dawn, I've known all my life, comes the courage to be myself.

When this is over, I shall start again.

I will once again walk as myself.
