Hello and welcome to another edition of Walking the floor.

I'm Chris Shiflet and that's right we're back two weeks

in a row now. I hope you all liked my interview last week with Mr. Steve Earl. He was great. Sound quality issues aside.

That one was a lot of fun. And I hate to say it, but apparently sound quality issues are becoming a trend because we have some

similar ones this week but they're not too bad and they're at the end of the show and you know I

know I'm a slow learner I'm getting all this techie stuff figured out

and hopefully there won't be too much more of that. Try not to let it bug you.

Okay first before we get to today's interview I want to tell you about a few Dead Peasant shows that are

coming up on the horizon. We're going to be out in Thousand Oaks on May 9th at the

Canejo Valley Days. I think we're on 8 o'clock. Then the next night, May 10th, we're going to be at the Mint in

Los Angeles, California, with one of the best bands in the whole wide world, Jack Shit. You do not

want to miss that one.

Later in the month, May 23rd, we're going to be up in Lake Tahoe at the Crystal Bay Casino

with our friends Dead Winter Carpenters,

and I think the next night we're going over to play

Reno on the 24th. A little bit after that on June 5th we're going to be down at the

Soho in Santa Barbara, California, again with our friends Dead Winter
