just might be too beautiful to live. It's episode 1261. In a collector series, yes, thank

you. It is a miracle. Nothing like sleeping for almost 24 hours straight to bring one

back from the absolute brink of death. Thank you for being patient yesterday. Sorry about

the ridiculously horrible nature of my speaking voice. And I'm only talking about the first

10 seconds of this show, but also yesterday, my voice was having problems as well. As

the rumors may have told you, I'm off on a little trip this weekend. I'm heading out

to Las Vegas with some of the guys from the Stack of Dimes podcast and the Air Raid podcast.

And I thought the show that we might want to put up for you on this Friday should have

something to do with Vegas. And I went back in the archives and I found a fun little

number with Jen and I talking about some of the finer points of Las Vegas. We also got

into Harry Ball's city building in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was living at the time.

And there was a long discussion of round ball rock, only the greatest sports theme song

ever written by one of the former hosts of entertainment tonight. So that's what we have

for you today. We'll be back here on Monday with a live show. We're going to record
