So John is currently an editor at Signature Books.

John, why don't you tell us about yourself?

What do you do for them?

What can people know about signature books?

Sure.

So hopefully a lot of people that listen to this know about signature.

Signature's been around a long time.

Back in the day, maybe people don't realize in the early 80s, I would say if you wanted a book on Mormon history, you had maybe Deseret book, maybe, but they were usually pretty tame, University of Illinois

Press, and signature books, and maybe bookcraft in there too before they were purchased by

Desiret book. So signature has been around for a while publishing on Mormon history. So yeah,

like you said, I'm an editor there. We do a lot of documentary history,

narrative history, some fiction, some poetry. We feel like that's important, too, for the Mormon community.

So yeah, that's what signature does, and that's what I do there. Cool. And so Tom Kimball, who

is a former employee of signature books, he's now moved on and lives in Kirtland. He says, he told me when he first was describing you that you are the most well-read person he's ever met.
